75Apply Common Sense Liberally Before Purchase
Having written a few articles about ways to making money online (and some offline ideas) I thought it would be a good idea to do a round up article detailing as many articles as I can - some of these are articles I wrote myself here on hubpages and some of them are articles other people have written.
When I read something some one else has written I ask myself a pretty basic question before deciding whether they are being truthful with me. Does that make sense? And this is my advice to you - ask yourself this question before committing to a course of action. Does it really make sense that you can earn a full time living for just 20 minutes a day of your time? Probably not. Does it really make sense that there is a majik bullet you can buy for $97? When some one claims to be making tens of thousands of dollars a week from a system - does it make sense that they would be messing around selling you the system for $9.99?
Forex trading is a good example of this - any one who tells you they are making a fortune forex trading - and they want to sell you the software they are using needs to be ignored. Why? They are liars - pure and simple. Forex is a zero sum game - some one wins when another person loses. Why would some one sell you their system? This would mean you would be playing against them - and they would lose. Would you spend any time selling a piece of software or an ebook or whatever if you were making hundreds of thousands of dollars a week/day/month? Of course you would not - you would be sat on your private yacht enjoying your wealth.
So - apply a little common sense before taking any advice you are given, or buying any make money systems. Seriously - do not spend a penny on anything from anyone until you have ascertained that it makes sense. There are a gazillion different ways of making a living online, from writing book reviews, to corporate blogging, to data entry - and I have written about quite a few of them, so without further ado, here are some links to useful ways to making money. You make a really good point about Forex trading. If someones had a system that could make millions they wouldn't be selling it to the public they would be making million or billions running a hedge fund or sell it for millions to a hedge fund operation. More people should employ this kind of logic before buying or investing time and money into anything.

I have been working at home for about 5 years now so you can imagine some of the claims I have seen! I got side tracked following one of your links and just came back from reading one of your other hubs. I totally agree with you about questioning why in the world would anyone sell the information on tricks they use to make money if it really is working for them.
