Top 5 Best Rated iPhone Bluetooth Headsets 2-4 G
By Mark Knowles
These are the Best Five iPhone Bluetooth Headsets By Customer Reviews
Woo hoo! The IPhone 4G is out! Slimmer, lighter, better quality and a sales pitch even the most ardent Apple-haters will have trouble vomiting to. But in dire need of a bluetooth headset
After numerous people took offense when I suggested that people who wear a bluetooth headset to a wine bar look like pretentious wankers, I will relent and admit that - when driving - and in no other situation - a bluetooth headset is a must have accessory for your Apple iPhone 4G.
Anyway - this is an updated version of my world famous iPhone bluetooth headset review which featured the now also world famous, "not as cool looking as you think" photo by Joelogon.
Accordingly
- these are what paying customers have voted the best 5 bluetooth
headphones for the Apple iPhone.
Bon Apetit!
#1 Motorola Bluetooth Headset H700 Plum
Rated 4+ stars on Amazon.com, the Motorola Bluetooth H700 headset in the plum color is the best rated iPhone Bluetooth headset.
Motorola boasts incredible call clarity and ease of use, as well as the H700’s backwards compatibility, making it useful on older phones.
The H700 makes it easy to take and end calls, by simply requiring you to adjust the microphone on the earpiece.
When you flip the microphone open you can begin talking, and once you’re finished, fold it back into the headset. The H700 boasts a 6 hour talk time, and 200 hour standby time, which is total BS, but better than the competition. Outstanding quality and now at less than $40 - a great deal.
#2 Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset
Also the best selling iPhone Bluetooth headset, the Plantronics Voyager 510 features Multipoint technology that allows you to easily switch between two Bluetooth devices.Yes - two - can I call this pretentious yet? No? OK........
If you use multiple phones, rather than carrying more than one earpiece, the Voyager 510 will allow you to connect both devices.
A noise-cancelling microphone that utilizes Plantronics’ proprietary Windsmart technology helps keep the background clutter and noise to a minimum, but once again - these things are better at canceling noise that comes directly from the side that in front of or above or below.
Another one at less than $40 - another good price I think.
#3 Plantronics Discovery 640 Bluetooth Headset
Given 4+ stars by consumers, the Plantronics Discovery 640 is packed with features. An extended talk time up to 15 hours long keeps you connected, while the comfortable design keeps you from aching. This one is the highest rated (4 stars again) that you stick in your ear - no ear piece induced.
You do not have to walk around all day with the Discovery 640 in your ear, because what is included is a case that vibrates whenever you receive calls. You’re able to recall your last number dialed, and use voice activated dialing place new calls.
I find this less comfrtable than the one swith earpieces but at less than $20 it is not goping to kill you to try it out. I prefer buying them from Amazon because they never quibble when you send things back for a refund.
.As with all the others - I have specifically chosen the best deal at Amazon - In fact - I am shocked at how many different prices for the same thing they have
#4 Plantronics Explorer 340 Bluetooth Headset
Another one rated 4 stars by consumers, I am beginning to think there will never be a 5 star - which is unsurprising Regardless - the Plantronics 340 Bluetooth headset is sleek and lightweight, and includes all of the features you’d expect from more expensive headsets.
Seeing as it is more expensive - nearly double the cost of the preceeding one - that is also unsurprising.
All of your call features are conveniently located on the earpiece, keeping you from having to reach into your pocket to answer the phone.
Call volume, redial, voice activated dialing, as well as your send/end button are all found on the earpiece itself.
The Plantronics Explorer 340 headset uses Bluetooth 2 technology, but is still backwards compatible with 1.1 and 1.2 phones.
#5 – Samsung WEP200 Bluetooth Headset Kit,
A stylish yet functional design, the Samsung WEP200 has received an average 4 star rating from consumers who’ve purchased it.
The Samsung WEP200 is cross compatible, so you can use the headset with non-Samsung Bluetooth phones. A Bluetooth 2.0 connection helps ensure you retain crystal clear call quality. A travel charger is included in the package, helping you ensure that the batteries are ready to go when you are away from your home or vehicle.
The Samsung WEP200 claims 4 hours of talking time, with over 70 hours of standby time on a single battery charge. I really like this one - although - you are probably going to lose it - it is so light.
All in all a slightly different list to my last one seeing as that was based solely on what I had tried and these are by average customer reviews. I am a little uncomfortable with one of these stuck in my ear, and it seems as though most prefer the one with an earpiece.

Hey Mark, the woo-woos and religious nutbars have finally had me removed from the forums. The admins here would much rather have religious hatred spewed all over the place while letting the woo-woos run rampant. See ya bud. Good luck!
Based upon your hub, I purchased the Plantronics Discovery 640 Bluetooth Headset. I do not use when I drive. Another great hub...

Wow!! It's really high class bluetooths
I'm planning to buy one . .
Can we use h500 with iPhone 4 ?
Um, it's the iPhone 4 NOT the iPhone 4G, and you are writing articles like these. Hopefully you are not getting paid to do this. If you are getting paid, that is sad.
