Making money online with advertising programs, such as Google’s AdSense, seems like it’s almost impossible. Where most people fail is choosing the wrong keywords to target their sites, or posts around, or they may not have enough traffic to help build a substantial income. Tip #2 – Choose Higher Paying Keywords. Once you’ve learned how to focus your pages on different keywords that search engine visitors are looking for, you’ll need to increase the amount that you get paid for each click you generate. Most keywords are only worth $0.05 per click, which means that for each visitor you send to an advertiser, you’re going to get paid 1 cent. It takes a lot of these clicks to add up to anything worth sending home about.
Tip #3 – Test More. If you haven’t spent adequate amounts of time testing different ad layouts, colors, and placement, as well as different keywords, on different sites, you haven’t developed the feel for earning with AdSense quite yet. Remain patient, and continue testing on different sites, as well as different ad layouts and placement, and you’ll eventually get a feel for what it is that you may be doing wrong.
Tip #4 – Pick Another Niche And Target More Keywords. As bad as it is to say, if you have exhausted all of your options, and have a steady base of traffic (1,000 visits per day), and are still unable to earn from AdSense, then you may want to consider changing niches.Sometimes - and this has happened to me - your research does not translate into income in the real world. In which case - suck it up and move on. Do not become emotionally attached to a niche.
You can earn quite a bit of money from Google, but some topics just don’t pay for one reason or another. It’s not something that can be determined up front, and just goes with the game, which is why you need to target so many keywords, and keep your hand in a few different niches.
