How To Make Money On The Internet
653 Ways Of Making Money On The Internet
There are quite a few different ways to make money on the internet, but some are either scams, or simply do not pay off the way you thought, or were promised they would. Legitimate opportunities do exist if you know where to look.
Here are 3 ways to make money on the internet with little to no upfront investment.
Freelance writing for your own clients and content creation websites is one way you can make some extra money from the internet. There are different forms of freelance writing, however. Sites such as The Content Authority or TextBroker allow you to accept articles being requested by various publishers. Once the order has been submitted and approved, payment is typically released to your account. Competition among writers on these two sites is almost non-existent.
Freelance writing Sites
- Write on HubPages and earn!
Hubpages offers a generous revenue sharing model - Unique content - Textbroker.com
- The Content Authority
Freelance writing jobs - Elance
Find clients and freelance jobs.
Stock Photography Sites For Freelancers

Selling photos with a stock photography library. - Shutterstock
Stock photography.
Other sites, such as eLance, allow you to place bids on active jobs. If your bid is accepted, you will be paid upon completion. The competition on sites like eLance is incredibly fierce, forcing you to lower your rates substantially.
You can also submit articles to AssociatedContent, Bukisa, and eHow. These three sites have a pool of article titles that you choose from.
The editorial standards on all three sites is slightly higher than other methods, such as The Content Authority, or TextBroker, so you must be prepared to fix problems in your articles.
Stock photo websites are another great way to make money on the internet. If you are an avid photography fan and have a large portfolio of works, you can submit them to sites such as ShutterStock to earn a commission when they sell.
This method is slower to earn than freelance writing, but the commissions continue coming as opposed to a one-time payment. Payment structure varies across different stock photo sites. Selling your photos is a slower way to make money, but if photography is your forte, it may be worth the effort to submit a few pictures.
Promoting and writing articles to make money online is another possibility. If there are products that you use on a daily basis, you can write a review about them, and insert your affiliate link to earn a commission from any sales you refer.
This method is by far the slowest of the three covered here but has the highest potential for recurring passive earnings. If you have time on your hands, and money is not an issue right away, you may want to consider setting up a website and writing a few reviews.
