This is great, Mark. A few people poke fun at Fender guitars, but the list of Fender enthusiasts is like a who's who of rock & roll. With fans like Mark Knopfler (he has his own line of Strats), David Gilmour, Buddy Guy and, of course Jimi Hendrix and Steveie Ray Vaughn, you know they've been doing something right. Even well known Gibson players like Eric Clapton have professed a long standing love for Fender guitars.
Sorry to rattle on, but you've hit upon one of my favorite topics, here.
Regards
Rob
Fender has been around for a long time. They must be good to endure time as they have. Nice hub!
Nothin' wrong with Fender guitars - just ask Eric Clapton. :)
I used to play the guitar when I was a teenager, but it's been quite a while. I miss it! I've always like Fender guitars, pretty good brand.
My brother has a Fender it's awesome, I still have me ole Yamaha I guess I'm still on the porch, but I can dream...
Thanks and Peace:)
Wow..you have an amazing knowledge of guitars!!
But I saw you also have hubs on food and will go there sometime.
Thanks Mark once again for some great writing!
Most all the great original artists got thier sound from using the American strat. I have a 1973 hand made B.C. Rich that I purchased when I was a kid, but had I bought a Stratocaster first, I believe that my creativity would have been much more stronger, and original.
Thanks again and keep writing and jammin!
